The Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry & Fire Protectionis recruiting for an Administrative Officer 2 in Anchorage.


This position is open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:

Join us as the Administrative Officer 2 (AO2 for the Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DOF)! Under the direction of the Administrative Operations Manager you will lead daily operations manage the budget and finances provide payroll and personnel oversight and supervise administrative staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized skilled in financial management accounting budget development and monitoring has knowledge of the Alaska Budgeting System (ABS) State of Alaska accounting systems and personnel and payroll processes.

The Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DOF) provides wildland fire protections vital public safety function on over 150 million acres. The highfunctioning administrative team you will join supports the boots on the ground that provide for the safety of people property and resources in Alaska and nationwide. We work hard to support DOFs missions to protect Alaskans from wildland fire as well as to develop conserve and enhance Alaskas forests.
