Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Reports To: OnDuty Supervisor

Position Overview
As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Guardian Elite Medical Services you will be responsible for providing compassionate efficient and highquality prehospital care to patients in emergency and nonemergency settings. You will operate under established medical protocols and work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients during transport and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency and nonemergency calls as directed by dispatch.
- Assess treat and stabilize patients in accordance with state and company protocols.
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while providing ongoing care.
- Maintain and operate ambulances and medical equipment in a safe clean and functional condition.
- Complete accurate and thorough patient care reports and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients families bystanders and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all local state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Participate in training continuing education and company meetings as required.
- Support special event medical coverage and other company initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Current EMT certification (National Registry Nevada State Certification Southern Nevada Health District or Compact State License).
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
- Valid Nevada drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting and moving patients and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patientcentered care.
- Ability to work effectively in highpressure situations and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in EMS or healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with Nevada EMS protocols and guidelines.
