KCRSolutions are assisting our client through a period of change resulting in their need for interim support within their finance department. The term length of the contract will be 36 months.
Our client is based on the outskirts of Sunderland and operates a hybrid working model. This role will be split between the office location and remote working.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Responsibility for the accuracy of the P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Efficiently manage the delivery of interim and yearend audit deliverables ensuring adherence to audit timetable.
- Manageintercompanybilling processes to ensure accurate and timely billing to other group companies.
- Accruals and prepayments
- Oversee and approve payment runs ensuring accuracy compliance and timely processing of payments.
- Ensure VAT is appropriately and accurately recorded for all claims
- Assist with audit queries as required
- Other adhoctasks as required by the Head of Central Finance and wider finance function
- Maintaining an appropriate control environment ensuring team members understand their responsibility for compliance and risk management

- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the development of the Finance team ensuring they are highperforming and wellstructured to meet business needs.
The Person
- Qualified Accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

3 days office and 2 days working from home
