As a GE Appliances Risk Management Representative youll play a crucial role in safeguarding our business by managing new and existing commercial accounts within our Retail Contract and Air Conditioning divisions. Youll conduct thorough due diligence on new accounts expertly underwrite lines of credit and develop proactive mitigation strategies for existing accounts.

How Youll Create Possibilities

  • Sends tracks and follows up on bank references and/or loan verifications for team.
  • Tracks and follows up on team inquiries (email and case management) requiring research review and resolution of presented issues.
  • Performs account setting updates including error resolution and any associated rework needed.
  • Completes required updates on payment terms billto/shipto locations pertaining to accounts and sales agreements and any associated updates to pending orders.
  • Monitors for needed actions on pending credit check hold orders for new accounts along with tracking of credit line increase requests impacting pending orders.
  • Prepares files and tracks preliminary lien notices including Notice to Owners (NTO) and Notices of NonPayments (NNP) in a timely manner to ensure lien rights remain intact.
  • Completes and validates supplier setup steps for customers with a buy/sell relationship primarily Authorized Servicers.
  • Researches documents and works with third party legal services vendors on legal collections requests.
  • Reviews Salesforce onboarding tracker to assist Associate Risk Analysts with open/aged requests; helping them research status and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

  • Problem Resolution: Proficient at addressing routine challenges with the capability to interpret and deviate from standard procedures when necessary.
  • Adaptability: Possesses the ability to make minor adjustments to work methods for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communication: Capable of conveying information that requires explanation or interpretation.
  • Theoretical Job Knowledge: Requires basic foundational knowledge of systems and procedures gained through previous work experience or education.

Preferred Competencies

  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Educational and Experiential Background

  • Possesses basic knowledge of relevant systems and procedures acquired through prior work experience or education.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience with vocational or technical education preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Previous Shared Services/Risk experience.

Hourly wages starting at $1922/hour depending on experience and education
