Summary
DLA Piper seeks a nonpartnership track employment attorney with 5 years of experience for our Employment Group. We are looking for candidates with experience for an employment counseling position that will support crossborder and global employment work. International counseling experience is strongly preferred and position will interact frequently with other offices in DLAs global employment practice. This attorney will be responsible for conducting employment diligence and advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions; drafting and negotiating employment retention and related agreements; advising on reductions in force and other employee terminations; drafting restrictive covenants and counseling on employee mobility and will also provide advice and counsel to emerging companies in all aspects of employment law. Flexibility and a willingness to learn are essential. We seek candidates with immediately transferable skills and a strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school. Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay Transparency
The firms expected hiring range for this position is $175000 $300000per year depending on the candidates geographic market location. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidates experience skills educational and professional background and overall qualifications.
