Job Summary
This is a fulltime position in our busy Pediatric Orthopedic clinic. This position does not require you to be in the operating room or perform most fluoroscopic exams. This position is performing mostly static diagnostic Xrays. This position will be mostly in at our Provo office but you may be asked to cover at our Riverton Salt Lake and Layton locations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Performing xrays in a timely manner with minimal exposure. Will need to assist with positioning and transferring of patients. Inputting orders as well as checking in and out patients in iCentra and EPIC . Use of the EOS machine as well as a mini C arm within the the clinic. Order supplies. Maintain inventory counts Performs radiographic procedures critiques radiographs and images to maintain quality control program. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Demonstrated potential ability to perform the essential functions as outlined above. Ability to provide care to the population served. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patients status and provide care as described in the departments policies and procedures manual. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills. Ability to select proper cassette size exposure factors and correct any exposure and imaging problems. Ability to prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the needs of the physicians.
Minimum Qualifications
Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Current licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah. ARRT Registration as a Radiologic Technician R.T. R) ARRT .
