Successful candidates: - Completed an accredited radiography education program.
- Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment use critical thinking skills show initiative planning possess excellent communication skills and work effectively on a team.
Responsibilities: - Adjusts c-arm fluoroscopic equipment during procedures in conjunction with and in response to the physician while following all safety protocols.
- Administers diagnostic x-rays; adjusts equipment determines proper exposure technique and time arranges immobilization and support devices properly adjusts shielding to protect patients and insures images are captured correctly and accurately per physician instructions.
- Understands and uses the PACS system.
- Maintains related information in patient EMR charts with proper coding.
- Adheres to all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Works with our in-house health care team consisting of Neurosurgeons Physiatrists and APPs to deliver excellent patient care.
- Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
- Other duties as assigned by changing needs patient flow or physician request.
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist
Hours: Full Time 40 hours
