Job Description
Job Summary:
LK Jordan is seeking a skilled Field Service Supervisor to oversee the coordination and of field mechanical services for centrifugal and reciprocating compressors. This role is responsible for supervising field mechanics scheduling service appointments and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assign work to field mechanics ensuring efficient service operations.
- Schedule and prioritize field service appointments based on work demands.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on compressors.
- Disassemble repair and reassemble equipment ensuring proper alignment balance and tolerances.
- Identify and communicate workrelated deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide onthejob training for new and existing employees ensuring proper documentation.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Overhaul and install gearboxes compressor rotors and mechanical components.
- Advise customers on necessary repairs and preventative maintenance strategies.
- Maintain detailed service logs reports and compliance records.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations competency assessments and corrective actions as needed.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings for repairs and installations.
- Travel as required to job sites for service and support.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 35 years of experience managing field workers in the petrochemical industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with troubleshooting installation and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to travel as needed.
- Must pass a preemployment drug screening.
- Comfortable using computers for reporting and documentation.
