Job Description
Job Summary:
The Parts Warehouse at Dixie Buick GMC is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team in Fort Myers Florida. As a vital member of our Parts department the Parts Warehouse employee will be responsible for receiving verifying storing and distributing parts and supplies to our service and sales departments. This is a fulltime individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience. Employees are paid weekly and eligible for medical dental 401K and vision insurance as well as vacation and sick leave. We also provide opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments of parts and supplies verifying accuracy and comparing to purchase orders
Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems
Identify and label parts and supplies and store them in designated locations
Fill orders and requests for parts and supplies from service and sales departments
Conduct physical inventory counts and assist with ordering and restocking parts as needed
Keep the warehouse clean organized and in compliance with safety standards and regulations
Assist with shipping and receiving of parts and supplies
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in warehouse operations and inventory management preferred
Knowledge of and experience with automotive parts is a plus
Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
Proficiency in computer systems and software including inventory management software
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle and record inventory
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
