Position Overview: Analyzes designs develops modifies writes edits and implements software programming applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and defines software requirements to determine specifications and standards.
- Proposes software solutions.
- Determines the cost of new and modified systems and engages in the proposal process.
- Develops designs and edits original applications or modifies thirdparty applications.
- Tests and approves applications.
- Trains users and writes training manuals.
- Manages user support and feedback.
- May specialize in one or more areas of development including network operating systems databases or applications.
Qualifications
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higherlevel staff.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter
- May provide leadership coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
- Typically requires a bachelors degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
- Technical expertise
