Associate- Finance Risk Management Hybrid

Capital One is seeking a motivated professional for an Associate position within the Finance Risk Management (FRM) team. FRM associates are engaged and insightful risk management partners working across the Finance organization to execute robust and proactive risk management programs improve effectiveness and efficiency of operation while reducing risk and influencing risk stakeholders i.e. risk offices compliance internal audit and regulators. FRM strives to enable a strong culture of risk management across Finance that is adaptable to a changing environment.

The associate will play a performing role in facilitating and managing key Stress Testing and Capitalrelated functions to ensure the Compliance Management Program and Risk Management Framework is wellmanaged and sustainable. This position will also require interactions with a variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts across Finance and Risk Management organizations and at times may support the broader FRM team via related governance activities and specialty projects. The preferred candidate should be action oriented effective at problem solving and have strong communication skills.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide risk advisory support aligned with Capital Ones Capitalrelated functions

• Manage daytoday activities to ensure our Compliance Management Program framework is wellmanaged and sustainable (e.g. Change Management Issue Management etc.

• Execute processes and program deliverables that support internal team governance processes (e.g. Process and Control Documentation (PCD) CCAR Model and Computation and Automation (C/A) Inventory Process Control Evidence Collection Assertions/Attestations)

• Assist with tasks and activities related to risk management initiatives (e.g. Control Remediation Business Continuity Management (BCM) Process Level Assessments (PLA)

• Identify and drive process improvements within Finances operational risk management programs

• Ability to work independently with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or military experience

• At least 1 year of experience in Finance Business Process Management Project Management or Risk Management

• At least 1 year of experience with G Suite or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or Military experience

• 2 years of experience working in the financial industry

• 2 years of experience in Finance Risk Management and/or Issue Management

• 2 years of experience in process or project management

• Ability to work independently and be flexible to change in a fastpaced environment that requires the balancing of competing priorities deliver accurate results and adhering to tight deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication

This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend 3 days per week (Monday Thursday) inperson at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Fridays are enterprisewide virtual work days.

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
