Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President Shopfloor Operations Analytics!
In this role the incumbent will be responsible for leveraging data analytics to enhance shopfloor operations minimize shrink and drive loss prevention strategies. This position requires a datadriven professional with experience in global retail operations utilizing advanced analytics to assess operational inefficiencies prevent losses and optimize store performance. The incumbent will work closely with crossfunctional teams to develop insights implement strategic initiatives and drive measurable improvements in shopfloor efficiency and security.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement datadriven strategies to optimize shopfloor operations and minimize shrink through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
Conduct root cause analysis on shrinkrelated issues including theft operational inefficiencies inventory discrepancies and process gaps.
Design and oversee the of loss prevention programs using data insights to enhance security measures staff training and operational controls.
Leverage AI machine learning and statistical modeling to assess loss patterns forecast shrink risks and recommend actionable solutions.
Collaborate with store operations supply chain and finance teams to identify highrisk areas monitor compliance and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Utilize realtime data and dashboards (Power BI Tableau etc. to track shrink trends detect anomalies and implement corrective actions.
Optimize shopfloor processes by analyzing customer behavior employee efficiency and merchandising to reduce operational losses.
Partner with global retail stakeholders to implement best practices in loss prevention fraud detection and data security strategies.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure shrink reduction efforts and overall shopfloor analytics success.
Stay ahead of industry trends regulatory requirements and emerging technologies in retail loss prevention and data analytics.
Provide leadership in guiding and mentoring a team of analytics professionals and retail loss prevention specialists.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelors degree in data Analytics Business Administration Retail Management or a related field; masters degree preferred.
Significant experience in retail analytics shrink assessment and loss prevention preferably in a global retail environment.
Strong expertise in datadriven decisionmaking using analytics tools like Power BI Tableau or similar platforms.
Handson experience with ERP systems (SAP Oracle JDA) for inventory management and loss prevention monitoring.
Proven ability to assess shopfloor efficiency using operational and consumer data insights.
Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across global retail teams and crossfunctional groups.
Indepth understanding of retail security protocols fraud detection and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Expertise in advanced analytics techniques including machine learning AI and predictive modeling for shrink and loss prevention.
Experience in developing automated alerts and anomaly detection systems to identify operational risks in real time.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and cost analysis related to shrink reduction strategies.
Previous experience working in a multinational retail organization with exposure to global supply chain and store operations.
