Are you passionate about early childhood education Do you thrive in a dynamic and nurturing environment We are seeking an enthusiastic parttime Child Care Teacher to join our vibrant team at the Rockland Harbor YMCA.
As a Child Care Teacher youll have the opportunity to inspire and shape the minds of our little ones. Your creativity energy and dedication will make a lasting impact on the lives of our children and their families. Our center serves children as young as 6 weeks old through PreK.
What Youll Do:
- Foster a safe welcoming and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow.
- Assist in developing and implementing engaging curriculum and activities that promote social emotional and cognitive development.
- Assist in Observing and assessing childrens progress and communicate effectively with parents about their childs development.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and enriching learning environment.

- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing highquality care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
