Job Description

To Apply:We are hiring for multiple administrative positions all being hired through Avanti Staffing. Resumes should be emailed to Marsha Nicholas: with the subject line JUF Application. Please note that these positions are temptohire and will start as a temporary position for the first three weeks.

What youll be responsible for:

You will be primarily responsible for performing administrative and clerical functions supporting event coordination and becoming proficient in JUFs CRM donor database Salesforce to support multiple supervisors in addition to assisting with all other administrative tasks as needed across the Campaign department. You will assist with event preparations and postevent activities in the office become proficient in Salesforce be a member of our Salesforce Contact Quality Team (CQT) team and support the overall needs of the Campaign department wherever help is needed.

This job is remote on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays. The salary range is $45000$46000.

What youll be doing:

  • Schedule appointments and meetings produce correspondence answer phones take messages provide information to callers and relieve team of clerical work and routine administrative and business tasks.
  • Assist team with functions related to processing expenses Microsoft Outlook Salesforce and other software programs including Microsoft Excel. Participate in all relevant technology trainings.
  • Provide ongoing support for events including registration populating information into Salesforce processing gifts pulling reports from Salesforce preparing physical meeting materials attending in person events as required postevent activities etc. Assist at events on site or outside JUF.
  • Become proficient in performing tasks in Salesforce including reporting data entry creating and responding to cases donor interactions editing/entering account details and conducting maintenance to support colleagues across the organization. Adhere to Salesforce policies and procedures and maintain integrity of information.
  • Serve as Contact Case Data Manager (CCDM) and participate in the Contact Quality Team (CQT) to support and maintain data integrity for Campaign as well as for the whole organization. This requires completing ongoing tasks and data entry attending weekly meetings and participating in ongoing trainings.
  • Assist team in maintaining CCDM case queue and phonothon queue including comments donor account updates donor relationships processing gifts etc.
  • Assist Donor Services team as needed.
  • Provide support for the Chanukah Coat Club including by processing orders (received via mail telephone or online) updating donor records and closing cases.
  • Support JUF Campaign and mandatory campaignrelated activities on an ongoing basis and perform related campaign duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

  • REQUIRED:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong interpersonal organizational written and oral communication skills.
    • Patient and adaptable with strong attention to detail and ability to file with accuracy.
    • Skill and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
    • Ability to learn new software systems including Salesforce.
    • Ability to work occasional evenings to staff events with advanced notice.
    • Observe in every respect confidentiality.
  • PREFERRED:
    • At least one year of experience working in a professional setting.
    • Prior experience working with large datasets.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce or other database system.
