Job Description
Our client is looking to add a Project Engineer to their team.
Job Responsibilities Project Engineer:
As a Project Engineer you will design develop and implement automation systems for industrial applications. Key responsibilities include:
Automation System Design & Development:
Create engineering drawings PLC/HMI programs and control panel designs.
Develop and troubleshoot PLCs HMIs and SCADA systems.
Project & Customer Interface:
- Work with customers to define project requirements and solutions.
- Oversee system startup testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with vendors CAD and manufacturing teams.
- Process Improvement & Business Development:
Identify optimization opportunities and assist in generating proposals.
Support project documentation financial reporting and invoicing.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of designs reports and system configurations.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and industry standards.
Project Engineer Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in automation PLC programming or control systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PLC programming (AllenBradley Siemens etc. and HMI/SCADA development.
- Experience with industrial networks (Ethernet/IP Modbus Profibus etc..
- Ability to troubleshoot and commission automation systems.
Soft Skills & Additional Requirements:
- Strong problemsolving and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel (up to 25 and a valid Drivers License.
- Ability to relocate to Iowa (relocation assistance provided).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Up to $120000 (based on experience)
