In this role you will:
- Purchase materials and supplies to meet production requirements and deadlines
- Support lean manufacturing methods including Kanban
- Monitor inventory levels and resolve shortages
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost quality and reliability
- Use ERP/MRP systems to track orders and inventory
- Develop and document and maintain procurement procedures
- Collaborate with production engineering and sales teams
Pay: $22 $35 / hour depending on qualifications and experience
Qualifications:
- 2 years in procurement or supply chain
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong Excel skills
Ideally:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Manufacturing experience a plus especially involving composites / carbon fiber materials
