Job Description
Job Title: Senior AMLMLS Developer
Location: Kuala lumper Malaysia
Type: Contract
Experience Level: Senior
Domain: AntiMoney Laundering (AML) / Machine Learning Surveillance (MLS)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior AMLMLS Developer to join our growing team. This role requires strong technical expertise in Big Data technologies and a solid understanding of AMLMLS processes. The ideal candidate is not just a data engineer or ETL developer but someone who can actively contribute to integration projects platform development and analytics within the AMLMLS space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain AMLMLS applications and data pipelines using Tookitaki and Hadoop ecosystems.
- Work on server/database components primarily using MariaDB and Oracle (not DBAfocused).
- Develop scripts and jobs using UNIX shell scripting (Korn shell Perl etc. and optionally Python or Java.
- Implement and maintain Hive queries and processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support AML initiatives and data integrations.
- Support application deployments and work with JBoss for application server configuration and management.
- Ensure compliance with AMLMLS process requirements and support model integration.
MustHave Skills:
- Strong handson experience with Hadoop (BigData HDFS Hive).
- Solid Unix Shell Scripting skills (Korn shell Perl etc..
- Working knowledge of SQL (MariaDB and/or Oracle DB not DBA level.
- Experience with JBoss application server.
- Good understanding of AMLMLS processes and how technical solutions integrate with AML use cases.
- Integration experience between platforms and systems.
Good to Have:
- Java Python PL/SQL scripting.
- Prior experience with Tookitaki AML platform.
- Basic functional understanding of AML (AntiMoney Laundering) domain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
- 6 years of relevant experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
