Job Description
Position Summary
The Finance Manager (FM) is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all business and financial operations of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center BCC . The FM independently directs and supervises the daytoday management of finances (budgeting accounting payroll purchasing) from multiple fund sources including contracts and grants philanthropic funds and institutional support funds. The FM works directly with the Associate Director for Administration ADA and indirectly with the Center Director in defining and prioritizing specific needs related to the Centers fiscal operations and in developing objectives and strategies to costeffectively meet those needs. The FM performs high level analysis to aid in the financial planning and strategic management of the BCC . In addition as directed by the ADA the FM has primary responsibility for overseeing a significant business process analysis change management and implementation of the financial affairs of the BCC .
