As a Health Care Nurse Surveyor you will be responsible for performing professional assignments to evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations that pertain to longterm care health care providers and facilities. This work involves the evaluation of the quality of care provided to residents in longterm care facilities and the investigation of complaints relative to the quality of care quality of life and services provided to residents. You will perform your work through the application of knowledge established methods practices procedures policies and regulations related to the various professional disciplines in the health care field. In this position you may be assigned to function independently with a partner as a member of a team or as the designated team coordinator during on site surveys. Frequent travel will be required within the counties of Berks Bucks Lebanon Lehigh Montgomery Northampton and Schuylkill.
