In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Handling employee queries related to HR services and policies. Administering associate transactions through the associate life cycle including all onboarding and offboarding requirements.
Working with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for newly offered associates through the prehire process. This would include processing all government or company related paperwork or processing any obligations through the offer process.
Collaborating with HR business partners to address complex HR issues.
Processing and maintaining all workers compensation claims unemployment requests FMLA and leaves of absences.
Reviewing and redesigning transactional HR processes.
Associates degree in Human Resources Labor Relations Business Accounting or related field required.
With three to five years of professional human resources with experience in a HR Shared Service team preferred.
Experience with Canadian Labor Rules.
Recent experience with Workday or similar HRIS program.
