Duties: Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati Ohio seeks Developer II (Multiple Openings) to provide application software development services typically in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Code test debug document and implement software applications. Analyze requirements tests and integrates application components. Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient (Agile) development environment. Produce software that delivers requested functionality by following the unified software development process. Convert detailed requirements and designs into computer language. Deliver quality software by possessing intermediate to advanced knowledge of modern modular programming techniques for implementation of customer needs. Perform software testing corrects program errors provide continuous application maintenance and enhancements. Serve as the interface with clinicians/staff and/or other customers to analyze workflow gather requirements problemsolve and discuss possible solutions. Confer with representatives of departments concerned with projects to resolve questions of program intent data input output requirements and inclusion of internal checks and controls. Actively participate in meetings with clients and help them transition from a requirement to the successful implementation. Propose a viable design approach by analyzing the possible courses of action and associated impacts. Implement new technologies designs deployments and testing methodologies to projects. Develop interfaces to access data from varying data systems across the institution. Provide direct technical support and secondlevel problem resolution assistance for production and process issues. Serve as a resource person for and as a liaison to other departments. Support departmental efforts to improve customer satisfaction. Develop knowledge and professional skills through crosstraining literature and attendance at department meetings and vendor education. Develop training objectives. Prepare oral and written presentations. Develop expertise in several Cincinnati Childrens computer based systems. Hybrid work permitted.
Worksite Location: 3333 Burnet Avenue Cincinnati Ohio 45229. Hybrid work permitted.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Informatics Health Informatics Computer Science or a related field. 3 years of SQL programming experience. 3 years of Python or C# experience with large data sets. 3 years of endtoend project management experience. 2 years of development experience in the healthcare industry. 1 year of EMR experienceEpic or comparable.
Salary: $79290 $110988.80 (This is the salary range. Please disregard the expected starting salary range listed at the end of this posting).
