Job Description
XLA is looking for a Jr Financial Accountant to support a federal agency in Arlington VA. This is an onsite position MondayFriday.
Requires knowledge of basic accounting principles andpractices as well as particular principles relating to government contractaccounting practices and regulations. Requires ability to read and interpret
written information and effectively communicate verbally and in writing whereinformation includes precise information and terminology.
- Salary for this position is $47500
Functional Responsibilities:
In direct support of senior accountantsperformance measure development efforts provides data compilation andanalysis through the use of standard accounting software applications banking
applications and spreadsheets. Prepares accurate journal entries to clearreconciling items follow up on researched items maintenance of statistical
information on accounts and communicating critical issues to management forresolution.
Minimum Experience/Education/Certification:
Entry level positionrequiring 03 years experience. Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
