Summary
Sr Manager Budget/FinanceManages prepares administers and directs the control of the budget. Manages the activities of the financial analyst staff. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team. Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget. Selects develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Sr Manager Budget/Finance
Performs all required management responsibilities including but not limited to:
implementing the companys policies programs and guidelines; ensuring employee productivity and growth; managing resources; knowing Varexs business; and maintaining functional technical and external market awareness necessary for managing immediate organization. Perform critical variance analysis/reporting.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Ability to lead people
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: Email Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
Scope
- Establishes operational objectives and work plans and often delegates assignments to subordinate managers. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing modifying and executing company policies for immediate and related areas of the organization that may have companywide effect.
Job Complexity
- Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires an indepth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets schedules works plans and performance requirements.
Interaction
- Regularly interacts with senior management levels on matters concerning one or more functional areas and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship.
Supervision
- Manages activities of two or more sections or departments through subordinate managers who exercise full supervision in terms of costs methods and staffing.
Education and Experience
- B.S. in Finance Accounting or related field of study
- 8 years of related experience
- 2 years management experience
