Job Description
Looking for an Internship with a company thats been named sixtimes one of theBest Places to Work by Plastics News We want you as a member of our team! Be a part of a fun and exciting environment. The Internship will be May 2024 through the summer.
The Engineering Internship would include Key Result Areas:
- Design and implement projects on Site Continuous Improvement Plan
- Identify process gaps conduct root cause analysis and develop solutions to improve.
- Utilize academic knowledge to incorporate into practical tasks on the plant floor
Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Electrical and/or Chemical Engineering.
- Computer literate in MS Office Suite of products
- CAD experience a plus
- PLC programming experience a plus
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools to resolve processing problems and optimize efficiencies
- High degree of organizational skills to effectively handle all assigned responsibilities
- Team builder
