Salary Range:
Fulltime faculty salaries are based on an evaluation of education and related experience after a job offer has been accepted and currently range from $47185 $94542. Fulltime faculty work 171 days during a ninemonth academic year and receive excellent benefits including health insurance life insurance dental insurance short and longterm disability paid personal and sick leave retirement savings plans tuition waiver for employees and dependents professional development funds along with many optional benefit programs.
**Please note Initial Step placement is established by the MSCF contract in which sets salary limitations to what a new Faculty member is able to begin at. This will differ from the maximum salary range in this posting. For more information please visit the collective bargaining agreement between Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) and the State of Minnesota. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience and number of credits for parttime faculty.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement:
Bachelors degree in nursing or a graduate degree in support of the field of nursing and/or education with a Bachelors degree in Nursing if the graduate degree is not in Nursing.
A nursing program director must hold a graduate degree with a major in Nursing Nursing Administration Nursing Education Public Health Nursing or a Nursing Clinical Specialty.
Occupational Experience Requirement:
Two fulltime years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level.
As a registered nurse at the professional level experientially qualified to accomplish the mission goals and expected student and faculty outcomes; including experiential preparation in the areas the faculty will teach.
Recency Requirement:
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful fulltime (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Professional Requirement:
Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse with current registration in Minnesota.
Compliance with Clinical affiliate policies for onsite clinical teaching assignments.
