Leidos is seeking multiple RCx Energy Advisors/Engineers to both market and support an RCx energyefficiency program for industrial and commercial facilities near Detroit Michigan. These exciting positions offer a unique career opportunity for dynamic people who possess excellent technical communication and organizational skills to support RCx projects for customers within a creative team environment. Strong knowledge needed in retrocommissioning of HVAC lighting and process systems. Must be able to utilize initiative to develop relationships with customers vendors and professional organizations to keep up to date and demonstrate knowledge of operational trends energy efficiency technologies practices and regulations in electric and natural gas demand side management.
Location: The ideal candidate will be located in Michigan. This candidate will be supporting large industrial and commercial facilities throughout the Detroit Metropolitan region.
The Challenge:
Identify RCx efficiency opportunities calculate energy savings maintain strong customer relationships and deliver presentations
Conducting site surveys and facilities assessments
Working onsite with facility managers facility and manufacturing engineers contracts supplies and energy engineers to encourage energy efficiency practices in their facilities
HVAC system assessments for general conditions and to identify energy savings opportunities.
Energy analyses based on trending bin weather data and regression analysis.
Building Automation System review opportunity assessment and verification work.
Knowledge of all types and opportunities of building systems including HVAC pumps chilled water hot water steam and compressed air.
Evaluate energy consuming systems and consult on behalf of the utility energy efficiency program
Preparing reports and delivering presentations
This position requires a valid drivers license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.
What Sets You Apart:
We will be looking for all levels; salary ranges $70000 $150000 will vary for the position level and other relevant factors
Junior Level: Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical degree with two plus 2 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
MidLevel: Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical degree with four plus 4 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Senior Level: Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical degree with eight plus 8 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Excellent written and verbal communications are essential.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is required.
It is critical that productivity and accuracy be demonstrated in performance of work.
You Might also have:
Ability to perform ASHRAE level III III energy auditing for commercial and industrial facilities.
Knowledge of different types of Building Automation Systems.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57850.00 $104575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
