Job Title Test Engineer II

Job Location Herndon Virginia

Job Duties:

Evaluate recommend and implement automated test tools and general test strategies. Develop publish and implements test plans. Develop maintain and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Write implement and report status for system test cases for testing. Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports. Analyze the business requirements and identify gaps. Create test scenarios test cases and test data. Identify potential regression test cases. Execute smoke tests before each code drop to confirm that the environment setup/configuration is correct and appropriate to start testing. Execute test cases once the code is deployed into the test environment. Create the Requirements Traceability Matrix. Identify document and retest any defects.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Employer will accept a bachelors degree in computer information systems or a related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or a software Test Engineer or Quality Assurance related occupation.
