Three Research Fellow positions are now available in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic Florida. The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking research fellows to expand its ongoing research initiatives in artificial intelligence ultrahigh field MRI and quantitative and functional imaging. Applicants should have a strong background in medical imaging research and those from nonclinical backgrounds that integrate with Radiology (e.g. those holding a Doctoral degree in physics engineering computer science applied mathematics statistics etc. are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants with a clinical background and demonstrated research productivity will also be considered.

The position is available for one year with the potential for extension. The salary will be based on the applicant experience and the Mayo Clinic guidelines. A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research. Individuals will train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peerreviewed publications. Proof of English proficiency is required for J1 ShortTerm Scholars Research Scholars Professors Specialists and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic.

More than 80 radiologists and five physicists cooperate with hundreds of support staff to perform and interpret more than 325000 examinations yearly using stateoftheart equipment. Committed to advancing imaging science the Department has invested in innovative research ventures establishing dedicated divisions for augmented intelligence and anatomic modeling. Researchers have access to an oncampus cyclotron 3T PET/MR system ultrahigh field 7T MRI system and photoncounting CT simulation labs and other facilities.
Must have a Ph.D. M.D. or equivalent degree in a field deemed relevant.
