Job Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain SAS programs for data extraction transformation andreporting in alignment with banking operations.
- Support analytics initiatives in areas like credit risk fraud detection regulatorycompliance customer behaviour analysis etc.
- Develop automated SAS reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders andregulatory bodies (e.g. RBI BASEL AML).
- Perform data validation data quality checks and root cause analysis of data issues.
- Collaborate with business users data scientists and IT teams to ensure accurateand timely data solutions.
- Document technical specifications data lineage and project deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Statistics or a related discipline.
- 12 years of handson experience in SAS Base SAS Macros SAS SQL and working with large datasets.
- Understanding of banking data models such as customer data transaction data credit card data and loan data.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance data reporting requirements in banking.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and data validation skills.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle SQL Server Teradata).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to SAS Enterprise Guide SAS Visual Analytics or SAS DI Studio.
- Knowledge of risk modelling Basel norms AML/KYC processes or regulatory
