Coordinate with Disassembly team on completed module handovers for the upcoming day / week to align part movement dates to closure commitments and communicate to scheduler if there is a capacity or quality concern
Coordinate with Assembly team on open capacity slots for the upcoming day / week and communicate to scheduler if the modules moving from the warehouse to assembly will not meet assembly capacity or scheduled dates
Draft daily schedule of resource allocation needed to support incoming and outgoing requests for operations leader to determine work assignments
Support problem solving of Lean Daily Management System action items related to delivery and schedule attainment
Principal resource to followup on shortage resolution needed with crossfunctional teams (including planning and fulfillment) found in accumulation (warehouse) process including creative problem solving across multiple teams to find the best solution
Owner of schedule attainment metric for accumulation including managing production file updates on accumulation progress to enable metric and improved customer reporting
Root cause projects late to schedule and implement process improvement projects to address top issues impacting schedule attainment
Primary point of contact on nonstandard pull requests including communicating timing commitments
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree OR a High School Diploma / GED and 5 years of experience in material planning and scheduling or manufacturing coordination
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal and leadership skills to influence across the organization
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage information flow and create comprehensive output
Ability to manage a complex environment of conflicting priorities with problem solving and collaboration
High level of proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel)
Desired Characteristics:
Lean and/or continuous improvement mindset
Experience working with AeroDerivative Gas Turbines/Aviation engine and module configurations
Warehouse / inventory management experience
