WHAS11 the awardwinning ABC affiliate in Louisville KY is looking for an innovative and dynamic Producer to join our Great Day Live team. We are searching for a creative storyteller who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for crafting engaging communitydriven content for broadcast digital and social platforms. The ideal candidate is a problemsolver a team player and someone who pays close attention to the details that make a show shine.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
Create compelling and unique segments that connect our community to local businesses organizations and events.
Collaborate with the Executive Producer Host Sales team and Clients to develop informative and entertaining content before during and after each show.
Write and edit stories for broadcast and digital platforms with clarity energy and authenticity.
Leverage the latest editing tools and production techniques to deliver visually rich and engaging content.
Utilize audience data and analytics to inform content decisions and enhance viewer connection.
Incorporate creative elements such as graphics viewergenerated content and remote interviews to elevate storytelling.
Inspire and coach onair talent to deliver highenergy authentic performances.
Maintain a strong presence across digital platforms writing and posting content daily for web and social media.
Ensure all stories are webready with supporting visuals and video elements.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Producer or Director of Sales.
Requirements:
At least 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred
Knowledge of CUEZ ENPS and Edius preferred
Organizational skills and the ability to work under constant time sensitive deadlines
Travel: Rarely: less than 10
Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time walking lifting bending standing etc.
