Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Create engaging original organic content for Ithaca College Admission social media platforms (Instagram TikTok and ZeeMee)
- Research social media trends and tactics and develop ways to incorporate them into ICs social media
- Attend small and largescale events to gather photo and video content
- Utilize Canva and video editing tools to produce social media posts that follow ICs brand standards
- Communicate with students faculty and staff to arrange takeovers photoshoots and video productions
Job Qualifications:
- Passionate about the social media industry and Ithaca College
- Experience with posting to social media platforms
- Photo and video experience editing knowledge is a plus
- Graphic design knowhow (just a bit no need to be an expert!
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (spelling and grammar are very important in this role)
- Ability to be flexible and adaptive
Pay Rate: $15.65
This position will be intimately involved with Ithaca College Admission communications and campaigns so be ready to build a strong working relationship with your supervisor and other student employees. Social media is fun but this role is intentionally focused on communicating the Ithaca College student experience and the admission process to prospective students and their supporters.
