Job Description

KimberlyClark is looking for an ambitious selfdriven and talented individual to lead our mill occupational health team. In this role you will make a difference by providing comprehensive occupational health programs and services to all employees at the plant through regulatory compliance proactive intervention and prevention. The OHN will lead the implementation and delivery of all appropriate occupational health programs and services that support the KC health and wellness strategy which in turn empowers our workforce to achieve and sustain their best level of health and wellness.

In this role you will:

• Manage and support employees and/or vendors both clinical and nonclinical at the clinic; Evaluate triage and provide first aid and/or referral (within scope of practice) and/or delegate duties as appropriate; Manage Incidents and Illnesses in line with the Event Management Standard and provide case management for all workrelated injuries and illnesses for the site.
• Manage all medical surveillance programs for the site in compliance with Federal and State requirements and Company Standards to ensure appropriate program implementation; Ensure compliance with local and enterprise policies and procedures.
• Responsible for shared compliance in EHS Maturity Model Standards of Care including but not limited to the following: Hearing Conservation Respiratory Protection Ergonomics Blood Borne Pathogens Emergency Response and Industrial Hygiene
• Partner with various stakeholders (ex. EHS HR plant manager) to review medical surveillance data and associated trends as well as participating in the development of associated countermeasures as appropriate; job safety analysis; work related injuries and illnesses prevention; accommodations and return to work; Partner with EHS HR Benefits and Legal for OH ADA Return to Work (RTW) Short Term Disability (STD) and FMLA matters.
• Serve as a highly visible and engaged resource for both employees and the leadership team focusing on risk assessment injury prevention and ergonomic reviews of operational requirements through regular site walks and open communication with employees.
• Develop and implement health promotion programs including education and training on topics like mental health nutrition importance of physical activity stress management; provide resources for health screening programs for blood pressure cholesterol and diabetes.
• Identify occupational hazards and identify ways to prevent and reduce workplace exposures; Support workplace incident investigation to identify root causes and future prevention.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic employee health records according to KC policy local and federal regulations; Manage employee cases to ensure safe and timely return to work.
• Manage and/or oversee delegation of the Medical Emergency Response Team including response compliance certifications drills and Training; Manage cost expenditures to maintain the operations of the Clinic.
• Comply with state legal scope of practice and OSHA regulations to determine appropriate delegation; Support the implementation of the segment occupational health strategy at the facility; Serve as the subject matter expert in Occupational Health for theirrespective plant teams.

In one of our professional roles youll focus on winning with consumers and the market while putting safety mutual respect and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role you will need the following qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited institution; plus a nursing license in the state of practice (or ability to obtain if not state certified); 3 years experience in Occupational Health or related field (i.e. Acute Care Emergency Urgent Care or ICU)
• Exceptional clinical assessment abilities paired with empathetic and compassionate care and experience in risk assessment and medical surveillance
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint); Experience with electronic medical records systems (i.e. Cority)
• Demonstrated ability to navigate workers compensation cases of varying complexity and strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
• The following certifications are required: CPR/AED COHN or COHNS (must obtain within 3 years of hire) Spirometry (must obtain within 1 year of hire) Hearing Conservation (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
• Adept working knowledge of EAP OSHA FMLA ADA HIPAA.

Salary Range: $78700 $93000 USD

Along with base pay this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite including our 401(k) and ProfitSharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as location role skills performance and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.

Grade 11/P2: Grade level and/or compensation may vary based on location
