The Big Rapids Hospitalist Team is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice caring for patients on their busy team. In addition to PAs they are looking for Acute Care or Adult Gerontology NPs. Experience preferred but not required. Under physician supervision you will provide medical care to patients of varying type and acuity. Primary site will be Big Rapids for this role but there will be times where the role will take place at additional sites.
As an Advanced Practice Provider in the Corewell Health Medical Group you will have:
This nocturnist role works 7pm7am 6 shifts in a pay period

Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner:
Required Masters Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a masters postmasters or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
3 years of relevant experience current relevant clinical experience
Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner

Big Rapids:
Corewell Health Big Rapids Hospital is a 49bed acute care hospital located in Mecosta County. Big Rapids Hospital maintains a level IV trauma designation and is a TJC Comprehensive Stroke Center. Big Rapids Hospital offers a full range of services including inpatient medical surgical obstetrical and critical care units. Outpatient services include a fullservice laboratory; a full complement of medical imaging diagnostic services including CT and MRI 3D mammography bone density testing and ultrasound; comprehensive cardiopulmonary services; rehabilitation services including cardiac and pulmonary rehab; along with an array of outpatient surgical procedures.
In addition Big Rapids Hospital has a 24hour emergency department with allprivate treatment rooms. Medical staff include general surgery orthopedic surgery emergency medicine urology family medicine internal medicine pediatrics and obstetrics & gynecology.
