Job Description
Summary: The EDI Transmissions team supports the external communications with payers and clients. It is critical to the Claims Management process which makes Quadax a leader in the Revenue Cycle Management software and services segment. Come join our growing team which supports these critical processes. This position is a unique mix of transmissions technical knowledge programming skills and client focused support. ONLY open to candidates living in: OH PA MI IN KY WV TN GA FL TX MO WI NE SD SC or NC.Visa sponsorship not available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications for transmitting data to and from payers and clients.
- Develop and maintain the Quadax claim processing system.
- Develop and maintain logic and algorithms for cleansing and preparing claim data prior to transmission
- Develop and maintain IBM Sterling Integrator (GenTran) processes and maps.
- Monitor the transmission processes that occur each day validating the success or fix and resend failed transmissions.
- Setup remittance files for downloading and processing.
- Setup eligibility payers for processing realtime transactions.
- Research client/payer tickets via our Help Desk system.
- Contact payers to verify a transmission or support a clients transactions.
- Research emails and payer web sites for new information related to transmissions.
- Setup new connection to payers
- Adapt to new technologies as Quadax transforms its platforms
Education / Experience:
- Associates degree preferred
- Programming skills required (C# and
- SQL
- Knowledge of IBM Sterling Integrator a plus
- Knowledge of Selenium a plus
- Knowledge of EDI (ANSI/271 etc. a plus
- Willing to learn and adapt to industry/technology changes
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
