Job Description
Overview
Do you enjoy working in a fastpaced environment Use your knowledge of warehouse procedures to be an integral part of daytoday product operations in supporting a worldleading software development company.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all product operations work areas including order processing inventory control and a variety of material handling processes using forklift stock picker pallet jacks copy and duplication machines bindery and more
- Prepare and apply warehouse shipping and other labels and documentation to packages shipments or pallets as necessary
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks
- Assemble products or other materials from assembly instructions and drawings bills of material or verbal instruction
- Pick and pack materials components and other items according to transfer order instructions
- Participate in cycle count ShipDesk metrics reporting and compliance
- Accurately perform data entry and transactional record keeping into various Esri computer systems and databases using a variety of software applications including SAP Microsoft SharePoint and Office and others
- Use effective written and verbal communication to provide timely status updates and follow up as necessary
Requirements
- 1 years of related experience
- Computer experience; able to effectively use email scanner and network systems; clerical skills to include data entry typing filing copying and email
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and with others as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in warehouse environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Action and results oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent
Recommended Qualifications
- Forklift/stock picker experience
- Current or previous California OSHA forklift certification
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Shipping order picking inventory control and/or production assembly experience
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipping terminology carriers and carrier manifest equipment
