Lead guide and oversee designated personnel including substitute employees. By being present during daily operations on all shifts and by making unannounced visits the RT Supervisor will mentor and monitor the performance and of assigned responsibilities. Perform performance reviews rounding coaching counseling and disciplinary actions as necessary. Assist with administrative tasks such as reviewing time sheets for accuracy and submitting for payroll and receipts weekly along with other payables.
Ensure that staffing schedules and daily operations meet the needs of the people being supported and expectations of service definition with BHDDH. Arrange for supervision of program when away from the program.
Ensure that staff utilize personcentered and positive approach strategies when supporting individuals receiving services through onsite observation role modeling and person specific training. Determine ways to implement goals and objectives in the community. Provide input to Clinical Director into residential treatment plan and modifications when applicable.
Engage in or ensure appropriate representation in the team meetings with other providers and natural supports as needed.
Gain a thorough understanding of the individuals being supported including their daily routines preferences and obstacles. Ensure staff are properly trained on Behavior support/ crisis plans and techniques for deescalation during a crisis.
Ensure that site is running at fiscal efficiency. Prepare monthly financial reports addressing areas and line items for both revenue and expenses that are not on target with monthly and yearly budget expectations.
Ensure the physical plant needs to repair are address quickly and cost effective. Ensuring home meets safety standards at all times.
Maintain compliance of BHDDH/Rhode Island service definition Joint Commission regulations and payor(s).
Participate in oncall coverage including afterhours weekends and holidays.
Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Driving and travel may be required.
Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
