Equifind has been engaged by a UK banking group for the recruitment of a Senior FP&A Analyst to be based at their office in the City of London.
Following a standout year in 2023 the business continues to build on its success by addressing the growing need to optimise data and financial analysis effectively. In line with this objective the company is recruiting for a new Senior FP&A Analyst. This key role reporting directly to the FP&A Director offers an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional to drive significant positive change.

Key Duties of the Role:
- Responsible for the production of the budgeting forecasting and scenario analysis including the continuous improvement of the existing budget and reporting system and models.
- Manage cashflow and capital forecasting. Enhance reporting quality insights and automation. Partner with divisional management and business analysts to deliver insightful analysis to the wider business. Represent the FP&A team at the divisional business management committee meetings.
- Review daily dashboard and weekly management reports. Preparation of Monthly ALCO reporting Packs.
- Support implementation of a new financial planning system ensuring successful delivery and use to improve the quality rigour and speed of our analysis.
- Provide cover for other Management Accountants and the FP&A Manager.
- Supervision of the FP&A Analyst.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Chartered accountant with a minimum of 2 years postqualification experience.
- A minimum of 2 years experience working within a banking or financial services institution.
- Previous experience of working within FP&A or commercial finance.
- Advanced Excel skills including the ability to build financial models.
- Great communication skills and the ability to speak finance to nonfinance personnel.
- Exceptional commercial awareness.
