Job Description
Role SummaryWe are looking for two Cloudera Administrators Senior and Junior to manage maintain and administer the Cloudera platform ensuring optimal performance secure configuration and end to end platform health including Kafka producer consumer setup and managementKey ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain all components of Cloudera clusters CDH CDPPerform cluster upgrades patching performance tuning and capacity monitor and troubleshoot services like HDFS Hive Impala HBase Spark YARN and OozieSet up and manage security configurations including Kerberos authentication and Ranger access control policiesAdminister Kafka ecosystem includingKafka broker Zookeeper producer and consumer configurationsManage Kafka topics partitions and replication factorsMonitor Kafka performance lags and optimize producer consumer setupsEnsure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for Cloudera and Kafka environmentsAutomate administrative tasks via scripts ShellPythonWork closely with Engineering DevOps and Security teams for platform enhancements and troubleshootingJunior Cloudera Administrator24 years of experience supporting Cloudera or Hadoop ecosystemsWorking knowledge of Cloudera core services and basic Kafka setupUnderstanding of producer and consumer configurations and monitoring basicsBasic experience with Linux OS and scriptingMotivated to learn and grow towards a seniorlevel administrative role
