The Job:
As a Global AME Director Specialty Platforms youll be part of our Advanced Manufacturing Team working as an onsite employee. As the Standardization leader for the Advanced Manufacturing Team you will lead a global team of technical specialists within our AME globally. Youll get to:
Lead a Global Advanced technical associates with associates located in and supporting key SBD regions (Asia Europe Latin America and US).
Lead a team of technical experts in areas such as injection molding Casting metal tooling Robotic controls & material handling welding paint etc. Applying those resources to projects and issues to ensure delivery service level and competitiveness.
Be technically savvy in all specialty areas to be able to discuss current status resolution plans and issues with all levels of leadership. Anticipate new developments within the technical areas and be prepared to execute appropriate developments within our manufacturing system.
Deliver standardized EHS compliant solutions for Global manufacturing including all technical areas that might affect capacity efficiency and capabilities within the SBD network.
Drive Productivity efforts within the technical specialties that constantly lowering SBD costs while minimizing CAPEX requirements.
Be an integral part of the Operations leadership anticipating problems (and resolving) exhibiting teamwork/influence and effectively communicating globally.
Be prepared to Support the AME Brand leaders & New Product Development teams with Design for Manufacturing input developing and approving new processes and assembly system design.
Responsible for optimizing ensuring reliability and strategically overseeing comprehensive technical solutions improvements and support for Tools & Outdoor global manufacturing facilities.
Be the overarching AME technical lead ensuring project support for Schedule Cost and Quality goals. Evaluating the need for specialty technology support within the AME world and applying resources as needed.
Continuously develop and refine your organization. Training filling gaps communicating Goals & Objectives and upgrading when necessary.
The Person:

10 years experience of team leadership & advanced problem solving.
Solid and varied technical background with experience in tools metals plastic electric systems batteries brushless motors and manufacturing equipment
Experience working with and leading Global teams in remote locations.
Strong leadership in cultural change management & managing multiple complex priorities and business connections with direct and indirect stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
This position may require up to 30 travel domestic and international.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $131200.00 $200000.00 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. A signon payment may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
