Job Purpose
Defines project objectives in terms of deliverables logic duration and resources. Leads Project status through analysis and ensure forecast reliability. Ability to serve as single point of accountability for all planning & scheduling activities on a project.
Job Description
- Develops a Schedule compliant with the selected strategy.
- Plans in order to mitigate risks and reduce costs. Defines and optimizes the necessary resources (EPCI).
- Defines the Planning & Scheduling system (methods procedures timeschedules physical progress dashboards etc.
- Defines for the Management the Proposal Manager and the Estimation Department a Contract duration realistic and feasible for . Defines the Project Breakdown Structures.
- Supports Client approval process of the Schedule Baseline progress claimed or milestones achievement.
- Increases Project team members awareness of the Project Milestones main durations and critical paths.
- Monitors and controls the project status to detect any delay and to propose corrective actions.
- Estimates the delay linked with changes and claims and to prepare the Extension of Time analysis in case of delay due to Client.
- Provides Project Feedback and Lessons Learned in order to improve the Planning & Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of Planning Department.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in relevant technical discipline preferred; however candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
- 7 years of experience in Project .
- 3 years of experience in Offshore Scheduling.
- Proficient in producing a plan from a scope of work.
- Coordinates reviews and prepares the project plans and schedules.
- Identifies change and risk management impacts to the schedule.
- Milestone planning expertise.
- Proficient in identifying critical path and float.
- Develop and maintain the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) baseline schedule SCurves and progress measurement methodology.
- Excellent understanding of Productivity Index (PI) and Schedule Productivity Index (SPI)
- Proficient in Primavera (P6. Good knowledge of EPCI work processes and sequences.
- Solid analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Professional English. Accuracy and attention to details.
