Position: Senior Compliance Specialist
Location: Centris Headquarters
Are you a compliance guru with a passion for making a difference Centris Federal Credit Union is on the search for a dynamic Senior Compliance Specialist to join our team and assist us in our mission of being a trusted lifelong financial partner!

What Youll Be Doing:
Champion Compliance: Research prepare implement maintain and track compliance for new and existing products services and systems.
Handle Legal Matters: Own the process for litigation legal and member dispute questions and be the liaison to outside legal counsel.
Review Contracts: Manage contract reviews for key outside vendors from inception to renewals.
Manage Insurance: Oversee corporate insurance renewals and claims.
Conduct Reviews: Assist with compliance testing reviews of internal controls and disseminate findings to stakeholders.
Monitor & Communicate: Stay ahead of industry publications communicate new legal and regulatory changes and make recommendations for implementation.
Provide Expertise: Respond to business unit questions regarding legal topics and issues.
What You Bring to the Table:
Expert Knowledge: Deep understanding of consumer state and federal laws and regulations including TILA RESPA TISA HMDA ECOA and more.
Team Spirit: Promote and model Centris Vision Mission Values and Team Principles.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret laws and regulations and communicate to lines of business

Job Requirements:
- Must have a bachelors degree in law business administration finance economics or related field and/or related work experience.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in legal or regulatory compliance within a financial institution.
- Strong consumer compliance knowledge enforced on the credit union by state and federal laws as applicable.
- Must have the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
