Mission of Role/Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead AC Disaster Consultings financial strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will be a selfstarter with high energy exceptional financial acumen and a strategic mindset. Reporting directly to the CEO the CFO will be responsible for developing and implementing both shortterm and longterm growth strategies driving costsaving initiatives and ensuring financial stability and scalability as the company expands.
This is a fastpaced and evolving industry requiring a handson leader who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The CFO must be comfortable working closely with the executive team providing highlevel financial guidance and rolling up their sleeves to create and execute financial models forecasts and strategic plans. Tasks Duties and Responsibilities:

- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and implement shortterm and longterm financial strategies aligned with the companys growth objectives.

- Financial Operations and Management
- Oversee all aspects of the companys financial health including budgeting cash flow management financial reporting and compliance.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance risks and opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and lead financial audits tax reporting and regulatory compliance.

- Collaborate with the executive team to evaluate new business opportunities partnerships and market expansions.
- Support business development efforts by providing financial analysis and risk assessments for proposals and contracts.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial success and business performance.
- Innovation and Technology Integration
- Lead efforts to explore and implement innovative financial tools and technologies including AI and automation to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and predictive modeling for financial forecasting risk assessment and strategic decisionmaking.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies that could streamline business processes and enhance financial reporting and analysis.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will have direct leadership responsibilities.
Expected Hours of Work:
Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 25 travel is expected for this position.
- Must be willing to travel and deploy if required.
Physical Demands:
- Sitting or standing for hours at a time.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time if needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. repetitively throughout the day and as needed.
Working Environment:
- Emergency management personnel may work in an office or home environment or be deployed to the field which may require working outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
- Work may be onsite with clients ex: EOC hospital debris sites or local government buildings.
- All AC Disaster Consulting (ACDC) positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire.
- If the remote work site locations change ACDC Human Resources must be made aware and leadership needs to approve any site changes for business registration and payroll tax purposes.
RequirementsExperience/Education Required:
- A bachelors degree in accounting finance or business administration is required. Years of experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis in addition to the minimum requirements.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience including experience as a CFO or in a senior financial role.
- At least one year experience in identifying and deploying AIdriven financial tools and business intelligence solutions.
Experience/Education Preferred:
- A masters degree in finance accounting or business administration is preferred.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in consulting government contraction or emergency management is preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa is required. We are not able to employ those located outside of the US.
- Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment.
