CED strives to pay a competitive wage in the industry and regional market. The pay range for this position is $6080K. Job TitlePlanner/Scheduler
Responsible for scheduling production and inventory planning and material demand to meet customer and program delivery requirements. Attainment of key planning objectives: ontime delivery and inventory management. The Planner/Scheduler has an impact on the companys ability to deliver quality products on time at budgeted costs or better.
Essential Job Function
1. Reviews job/contract requirements to identify all assembly and hardware requirements. Creates Manufacturing Orders for the corresponding quantities along with other items identified to create demand in the MRP system.
2. Ensures part coding and planning parameters and part assignments are optimized to support customer and business goals.
3. Initiates all part pulls to support MOs and monitors all incoming hardware and plans production capacity to coincide with part availability.
Basic Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree preferred. Five years minimum experience in supply chain inventory management planning and/or scheduling. APICS certification is considered a plus.
2. Previous experience with Microsoft D365 or ERP equivalent desirable. Proficient computer skills to work with ERP system such as D365.
3. Language Skills: Ability to read analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients and customers.
