Air Liquide Engineering & Construction builds the Groups production units (mainly air gas separation and hydrogen production units) and provides external customers with efficient sustainable customized technology and process solutions. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
Managing performance of team members by setting objectives tracking and reviewing performance and providing constructive feedback.
Planning of mid and longterm personnel requirements in line with groups strategy and in support to Head Of Piping Department.
Allocation of employees to projects based on:
Defined Project/Proposal requirements
Competence profile
Availability
Ensuring proper staffing for project short term needs by hiring contract or third party personnel.
Regular resource planning solving low/high workload issues.
Accountability for recruitment and knowhow buildup in concerned discipline to meet the companys current and future needs.
Setting up stress analysis activities by spreading/sharing methodologies/work processes coaching and motivating the team.
Providing active oversight of the engineering work including technical support technical quality assurance technical design/project reviews.
Applying indepth subject matter / technical knowledge to resolve complex or unusual engineering and design problems.
Proposing and piloting continuous improvement projects to improve quality efficiency and competitiveness of the discipline on projects.
Support implementation of stress analysis engineering discipline working tools and software systems.
Participating in project kickOff meeting and discipline KickOff meeting.
Supervising the discipline work on projects regarding safety quality schedule and cost.
Reporting line & localisation:
You will report directly to the Head of Piping for Europe.
This role is located in Krakw Poland. All direct reports are based in Krakow Poland.
Are you a MATCH
Must already be legally eligible to work in Poland.
Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Several years of experience in the role of a Stress Engineer in EPC or Plant Engineering (Oil & Gas Energy Refining Petrochemicals etc..
Good interpersonal skills to influence and lead Team.
Good and verified in use knowledge of Stress Engineering Tools (AutoPipe as must Caesar II as good to have).
Understanding of the project in the EPC Industry.
Understanding of interfaces between the different Engineering Disciplines.
Strong skills in communication negotiation problemsolving decisionmaking and critical thinking including challenging the statusquo.
English very good in speaking and writing.
