Job Description
The reading Interventionist is part of a dynamic team working to meet the needs of every student in a diverse population. In coordination with teachers and administration the Reading Interventionist provides inclass and pullout support for students needing support or enrichment. The position includes communication and recordkeeping as well as serving on two student support teams.
Essential Functions
- Work with individual and small groups of students in and outside of the classroom.
- Maintain records of student progress.
- Coordinate with classroom teachers and school administrators.
- As a member of the Student Advocacy Team help to identify students needing assistance or challenge work and provide resources.
- Provide support and resources to Englishlanguage learners.
Position Qualifications
- Passion for helping students.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to research resources and best practices.
- Understanding of language acquisition.
- Teaching credentials are a plus.
Pay Range: $40000 $55000 Annualized
