Nuffield Health is looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Sterile Services Technicians to join the Team in HSSU. These positions will be to assist in the preparation of sterile and/or disinfected medical devices under controlled conditions to meet customer requirements.

(includes shift allowance)

What we are looking for

• Nuffield Health is looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Sterile Services Technicians to join the Team in HSSU. These positions will be to assist in the preparation of sterile and/or disinfected medical devices under controlled conditions to meet customer requirements.
• It will be important to maintain a clean and tidy working environment whilst checking medical devices for cleanliness functionality and damage and taking action to rectify any problems and escalating issues where necessary.
• Successful candidates will ensure that process equipment and accessories are in full working order and that all faults and anomalies are reported.
• With good organisational skills post holders will be required to maintain accurate records / documentation in accordance with statutory and organisational policies and procedures.

What do you need

• A basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy
• Full training will be provided
• Good communication skills verbal and written and basic computer literacy
• Attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service
• To be able to handle manual handling duties up to 13kg
