Job Description
Our client is a wellestablished and rapidly growing player in the construction and infrastructure development space. As they expand theyre looking to bolster their finance team with a Senior Accountant based in the Pretoriaarea. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience in a group or multientity environment preferably within construction engineering or projectbased industries.
Duties include (not limited to)
- Preparation of consolidated monthly and annual financial statements
- Oversee the accounting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
- Ensure the proper recording of financial transactions for all subsidiaries
- Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to senior management
- Assist with strategic financial planning and forecasting for subsidiaries
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective working capital management
- Completed BCom Degree in a related field
- 5 years experience within a similar role
- Construction industry experience required
