Position Overview

The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Property Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing an assigned portfolio of multifamily apartment communities. This role leads a team of Regional Supervisors and works crossfunctionally with operations marketing maintenance and executive teams to deliver toptier property performance resident satisfaction and financial outcomes.


Reporting to the Vice President Property Operations the RVP will develop implement and refine operational strategies that align with company goals while maintaining exceptional service standards and supporting the professional growth of onsite and regional staff.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Lead mentor and manage a team of Regional Supervisors to ensure timely and costeffective of property operations.
  • Oversee portfolio performance by analyzing operational data and leveraging insights to drive propertylevel decisions.
  • Administer and manage operating budgets forecasts and business plans ensuring alignment with ownership goals and corporate strategy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with ownership groups serving as a liaison and strategic advisor.
  • Monitor resident satisfaction and retention across the portfolio ensuring a consistent and highquality resident experience.
  • Evaluate marketing leasing and pricing strategies to optimize occupancy and revenue.
  • Ensure adherence to all Valiant Residential operational cleanliness and safety standards through regular property visits.
  • Approve monthly discretionary expenses and performancebased bonuses.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations including training safety and conflict resolution in alignment with HR policies.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation operational improvement and efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Lead performance reviews succession planning and staff development initiatives for regional teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Expert knowledge of multifamily property operations marketing and financial management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop highperforming teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Yardi or similar platforms and Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and foster a collaborative environment.
Requirements


Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Real Estate or a related field required; advanced degree preferred..

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of multifamily property management experience.
  • Minimum 4 years in a senior regional leadership role.
  • Experience working with multisite teams including multistate experience.
  • Proven track record managing large portfolios and diverse property types.

Certifications

  • CAM CAPS or CPM designation preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Keying/typing sitting standing and walking as part of daily work responsibilities.
  • Requires constant mental and/or visual attention in an office setting.
  • Must be able to sit stand climb stoop and remain at a desk for up to 8 hours or more if needed.
  • Must be able to walk the property for up to 8 hours (or more) in various weather conditions.
  • Must have the ability to climb stairs for purposes of showing properties to prospective tenants.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.
The noise level is usually quiet in office settings and moderate at property sites.
  • Inoffice work is required with less than 30 travel to sites or industry events as needed.
