Job title: SME Account Handler
Salary: 30000 (DOE)
Location: Doncaster
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Were assisting a wellestablished insurance firm in recruiting an experienced and knowledgeable Account Handler. In this role you will be responsible for providing insurance solutions to our clients in a timely and effective manner focusing on servicing SME Commercial clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Relationship Management: Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries foster strong client relationships and assist with the preparation and renewal of insurance policies.
- Policy Administration: Accurately process new business renewals endorsements and cancellations and review policy documentation.
- Insurer Negotiations: Collaborate with insurers to obtain favourable terms and negotiate premiums and coverage details.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to FCA regulations and stay uptodate with market and regulatory changes.
- Collaboration and Team Support: Partner with Account Executives and team members to provide seamless client support and share expertise within the team.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a similar account handling role within the insurance sector or specialism
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
- Proficiency in using insurance platforms and client management systems
SKILLS
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on client satisfaction
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and professionalism
- Proactive and solutionoriented with the ability to anticipate client needs
